Training Session Structure

This hairdressing course comes with a flexible and easy to manage study load. Students are expected to complete two days of training per week over a 48 week period. 

  • Two training sessions per week
  • 48 weeks in total
  • 96 total training sessions

During your Certificate III in Hairdressing course you will cover these key skill areas:

  • Hair analysis including hair treatment plans along with scalp and hair conditioning
  • Hair cutting including ladies and mens cuts along with layering and texturing techniques
  • Colouring including permanent, semi-permanent, tining, toning and foiling methods
  • Salon skills covering work area maintenance, client consultation, payments and general work skills
  • Curling and straightening services
  • Hair styling including sectioning, tonging, setting, and many more
